Secrets and Legends of Ancient Bakewell Thursday 4th April 2019 
This guided walking tour of Bakewell lasts about 1 1/4 hours.
In half a mile it covers the main sites of interest plus stories of local celebrities, Tudor royalty, ghosts and witches. 
 It leaves at 2 pm today from outside Bakewell Visitor Centre, Bridge Street

Bakewell PBFA Book Fair Saturday 13th April 2019 

Bakewell PBFA Book Fair

Located at the Agricultural Business Centre, Agricultural Way, Haddon Road, Bakewell DE45 1AH this P.B.F.A. Book Fair - the largest currently being organised within the Peak District National Park - will have 30 dealers attending displaying a wide variety of books, both second hand and antiquarian, with maps, prints, ephemera, and lots of unusual and interesting items on display. All dealers attending follow a PBFA Code of Practice ensuring that all items are correctly described and fairly priced. All visitors will be most welcome. Admission is £1.00 but a free entry ticket can be found and printed off by visiting the PBFA web site - www.pbfa.org. Bakewell food festival 27th - 28th April 2019 

BAKEWELL FOOD FESTIVAL is held in the town centre and around the streets of this beautiful riverside market town. Now in its eighth year with around 100 food and drink stalls, crafts and gifts, children's rides, Elf Mills pony carriages, James McKay and his owls of Harry Potter Fame. Rachel's Magical Entertainment with some very popular Disney Characters. The farmers market will be held on the Saturday in the Agricultural Business Centre. FREE ENTRY
