Everyone will be most welcome to the Service and afterwards to mince pies and coffee in The Newark. Please come and join us!



 
Wild Fowl Carvers 13th - 14th December 2008 
The British Wild Foul Carvers Show opens at 10am-4pm held within The Agricultural Business Centre in the heart of Bakewell with plenty of parking. It has easy access into the town to visit its shops, Cafes and Bars.

Christmas Concert Saturday 13th December 2008 
A Lively concert of Christmas Carols, to include audience participation and seasonal readings will be performed by Bakewell Choral Society on Saturday 13th December 2008. Also included in the programme will be a live mummers play.
The choir, conducted by Richard Barnes M.B.E. will be accompanied by Amanda Kornas, Jennifer Watson(Flute) and Keith Hodgson(Organ).
The concert at Bakewell Methodist Church starts at 7.30 p.m. Tickets cost £5 (students and children free) and are on sale at Bakewell Bookshop, from choir members and on the door. A donation from the proceeds will be made to the Ashgate Hospice. For free Transport from some of the villages, contact Vern Johnson 01629 584941.

Bakewell farmers Market** Saturday 20th December 2008 
Under cover at the Agricultural Business Centre in the heart of Bakewell with plenty of parking. It has easy access into the town to visit its shopswhich also sell a wide range of local produce. Generally on the last Saturday of each month. Held on Saturdays from 9am - 2pm*



*Please note: all closing times are given for guidance only. Individual traders will often sell out and therefore finish trading earlier.
Producers: Producers who are regular traders at Bakewell are listed ** week early for Christmas.

BAKEWELL GYMNASTICS CLUB Monday 1st September 2008 - Tuesday 1st December 2009 
Sunday 30th September 2007 - Sunday 13th July 2008The Gym Club is now in its 6th year and is open to boys and girls aged 5years and over.

We meet on Sundays (term time only) from 10am - 11am in the Sports Hall at St Anselms School, Bakewell.

The club is run by Kevin Bacon an experienced British Gymnastics Registered Coach.
