Viking Age Sculptures - FREE WALK & TALK Part of the Heritage Open Days, Jan Stetka will lead a walk and talk on Bakewell's Viking Age Sculptures. These world leading Anglo-Scandanavian Sculptures, illustrate the formation of England from the Viking and AngloSaxon tribes, which preceeded the nation state. Meet at the Old House Museum 2pm - Booking essential.
The Old House Museum and is located on Cunningham Place, above Bakewell Church.
Access is from North Church Street or Church Lane.

Monsal Trail to look at the wildlife of the area and the features of

Sunday Afternoon Garden Party at The Old Vicarage, Yeld Road, Bakewell from 2pm.
Entertainment by Cressbrook Brass Band and Story Bag Theatre Group.
Buffet and Cream Teas, Raffle, Tombola and Stalls

| Bakewell Farmers market | Saturday 26th September 2009 |

Farmers Markets are an opportunity to buy food and local products direct from
local farmers, producers and craftsmen. They sell only products which
have been grown, raised, baked or caught locally, normally within 30
miles. They do not sell GM foods. Many stallholders will be registered
organic producers.
Bakewell Farmers Market is held at the Bakewell Agricultural centre
and takes place on the last Saturday of the month from 9 am to 2 pm.
