 | Markets are still held every Monday in the town centre. Bakewell has one of the oldest markets in the area, dating from at least 1300. The first recorded fair was held in 1254.

| Bakewell farmers Market | Saturday 30th August 2008 |

 | Under cover at the Agricultural Business Centre in the heart of Bakewell with plenty of parking. It has easy access into the town to visit its shops which also sell a wide range of local produce. Generally on the last Saturday of each month. Held on Saturdays from 9am - 2pm*
*Please note: all closing times are given for guidance only. Individual traders will often sell out and therefore finish trading earlier.
Producers: Producers who are regular traders at Bakewell are listed ** week early for Christmas.
