The Peak District Artisans present Spring Showcase.Join us for a unique opportunity to experience a selection of the regions finest artists, makers, designers and contemporary artisans.
The exhibition runs from 2-3rd April in the magnificent Haddon Hall. Forthis weekend only, admission to the hall will be FREE.
Opening times are 10am -5pm 2nd April and 10am - 4.30pm on the 4th.
Haddon Hall restaraunt wll be open throughout the weekend, with a special Mothers' Day menu available on the Sunday. |

| Three Cakes Challenge | Saturday 16th April 2011 |

This is a Short, fun, Pushchair friendly walk along the Monsal Trail to celebrate the 60th Birthday of the Peak District. We will taking a 3 mile stroll, between Thornbridge Hall and Hassop Station Cafe and back, with delicious Cake at each stop. It would be a perfect treat for the family, so please come and join us on this great event. We start at 11.15 but please arrive half an hour before. Ex-Blue Peter presenter and local farmer Simon Groom will be on hand to give out thank you certificates and join in with the birthday party.

| Farmers Market | Saturday 30th April 2011 |

 | Farmers Markets are an opportunity to buy food and local products direct from local farmers, producers and craftsmen. They sell only products which have been grown, raised, baked or caught locally, normally within 30 miles. They do not sell GM foods. Many stallholders will be registered organic producers.
Bakewell Farmers Market is held at the Bakewell Agricultural centre and takes place on the last Saturday of the month from 9 am to 2 pm.
