Antique & Collectors Fair Sunday 1st May 2011 

Antique & Collectors Fair

Ashford Memorial Hall,

Ashford in the Water, DE45 1EL

9:30 am to 4:30 pm

As a rough guide, the fair will include items from late 19th cent to more current collectables. Anything from jewelery, porcelains, pottery and glass, to brass copper and other metal ware along with linens & textiles, current collectables and more unusual items. Admission is £1 (Accompanied children free)

The market consists of both domestic stalls held in the centre of town and a cattle market over at the Agricultural Centre, both are ran Every Monday.

Finalists in BBC 3 Choir of the Year at Millenium Hall in Cardiff

The Kinder Children's Choirs of the High Peak have been one of the major success stories of the High Peak since their formation in 1991. They are firmly established as one of the UK's foremost children's choral organisations. The choirs performing at Bakewell are the Kinder Children's Choir and the Kinder Youth Choir. The choirs are named after Kinder Scout and involve more than 100 choristers between the ages of 7 and 18 in a group of more than 5 choirs.

Farmers Market Saturday 28th May 2011 

Farmers Markets are an opportunity to buy food and local products direct from  local farmers, producers and craftsmen. They sell only products which have been grown, raised, baked or caught locally, normally within 30 miles. They do not sell GM foods. Many stallholders will be registered organic producers.
 

Bakewell Farmers Market is held at the Bakewell Agricultural centre and takes place on the last Saturday of the month from 9 am to 2 pm.
